The Crenshaw/LAX Line is an under-construction light-rail line that will run through southwest Los Angeles. The line will run generally north-south and will connect the Crenshaw Neighborhood and Leimert Park to the City of Inglewood and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Getting into town from LAX via Metro Rail is very inexpensive, but it does require a shuttle bus and changing trains. However, once you are connected to the metro rail system, you have easy access to explore the diverse neighborhoods of the Los Angeles Metro area which include, Hollywood, Pasadena, Long Beach, Culver City and Downtown LA.

The Red Line is a heavy rail subway line running between Downtown Los Angeles and North Hollywood via the districts of Hollywood and Mid-Wilshire. In North Hollywood it connects with the Orange Line (bus rapid transit) service for stations to the Warner Center in Woodland Hills and Chatsworth.
